Abstract

The Newspaper Writing as an academic field is waiting for a history of the considerations that the author have made since 1974, when Martínez Albertos published the first
book with basic questions about the field: nature, objective, and methodology . This paper points to the milestones that should fallow that history and show why the authors think that Periodística, the name that uses Casasús reflects better than Newspaper Writing all the research of the academic filed.
