What information do we gather, for what purpose do we process your data, and how do we carry this out? We take the following actions:

The personal data provided will be retained until the end of the relationship, and the deletion will be carried out based on compliance with the following regulations:

- The editorial team of this journal shall comply with the standards of data privacy and retention according to the provisions of the European Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016, and of Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13, Spain (LOPD), regarding Personal Data Protection.

The data will not be given nor sold by this journal nor PKP, nor will it be used for purposes other than those stated herein.

Failure to provide expressly requested data will impede the registration process in the journal, the sending of originals, and the editorial follow-up of the same.

How do we protect your data?

The website of Textual & Visual Media uses information security techniques generally accepted in the industry, such as firewalls, access control procedures, and cryptographic mechanisms, all of which are intended to prevent unauthorized access to data. To achieve these ends, the user acknowledges that the provider shall obtain data for the purposes of the corresponding authentication of access controls. Web metrics analysis

The website servers are capable of automatically detecting the IP address and domain name employed by users. An IP address is a number which is automatically assigned to a computer when it is connected to the Internet. This entire body of information is recorded in a server activity file that allows subsequent processing of the data, yet only for the purpose of obtaining exclusively statistical measurements. 3. Authorship recognition policy

Regarding the involvement of each author who signs the article, in order to properly acknowledge their participation in developing the research, the journal Textual & Visual Media follows the criteria established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

In declaring authorship, each participant shall indicate the role or roles that correspond to their involvement, according to the model defined in the CRediT de CASRAI.

Authors shall be indicated using the following format: First name, Last name: Role1, Role2. Conceptualization, Methodology, Research, Validation, Supervision, and others that may apply.

The order of the signatures shall follow the SDC approach (Sequence Determines Credit), so that the first author to appear shall be the one who makes the most significant contribution to the research, while the remaining authors shall appear successively according to the relevance of their contribution on a descending scale.
