Visualizing and uncovering meaning in Twitter networks using NodeXL

Abstract

This article uses Social Network Analysis (ARS) as a methodological tool to visualize the structures of network relationships, discover semantic networks and identify the main actors that dynamize a conversation around a topic on the Twitter platform. This study takes as an example what happened in the Cavalcade of Andoain, a small town in Gipuzkoa, in January 2019 that became one of the most talked about topics on social networks and in the media.
