Keywords:
Stardom, Cinema and Journalism, Journalistic professionAbstract
The image that the public holds of the journalistic profession is largely determined by the form in which this is represented in the cinema, since this is one of the principal ways by which people outside the profession can find access to the interior of the mass media. On celluloid, the figure of the journalist is shown in a simplified and disfigured form. One of the consequences of this is the distorted image of the profession held by society in general.
